Synopses of "Rites of Passage"

It has the requisite heroine, knight in shining armor, evil wizard, and great "quest." It also has a flying unicorn, a blind bobcat, the town madame, betrayal, jealousy, revenge, and a great romance. Basically the plot line is the heroine's race is detroyed by the evil wizard, everyone except for her, that is. She's declared sacrosanct by the gods because it's her destiny to destroy the wizard 500 years in the future. She's reincarnated in another lifetime. But the road to destiny is paved with obstacles (obviously). She falls in love with her adopted brother. Her second home is obliterated, not once but twice, by the evil wizard (who says lightening doesn't strike twice in the same place?). That fuels her need for vengeance and to fulfill her destiny all the more. So she, her adopted brother (the knight in shining armor), her flying unicorn, blind pet bobcat, and the town madame embark on a quest to destroy the evil wizard once and for all.
